Drop In #1 -- Finding the Basics on the Web     A web-based activity taking students to the CIA World Factbook.

Drop In #2 -- Apartheid in South Africa    This is a web-based activity, in which students learn about apartheid.

Drop In #3 -- Nuclear Programs Throughout the World     In this web-based activity, students will access a graph on nuclear programs and will be asked to answer questions based on the graph and their own feelings on nuclear weapons programs.

Drop In #4 -- Seeing Both Sides on Gun Control    This activity takes students to websites of the two most prominent organizations related to gun control. Students will be asked to compare the websites, to compare the messages on the websites, and to evaluate their own feelings on gun control.

Drop In #5 -- The Leaders of the Civil War     This activity allows the students to learn more about leaders of the Civil War. In the activity, they are asked to place important information about leaders of the time on a chart. This activity is meant to allow students to compare major leaders of the war while preparing them for an upcoming research assignment.
