POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
HOURS: 7:40 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday - Friday
Homework Clubs meet after school in the media center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:45-4:10.
PASSES: Each student must present a pass from a teacher to the media center staff when entering the media center. Put the pass in the cow basket when entering. Remember to sign-in and sign-out on the clipboard!
BOOK CHECK OUT: The media center staff will check out your book(s) with the computer at the circulation desk.
LOAN PERIOD: Each student may have 3 books and/or magazines checked out at any one time. The due date is two weeks from the day that you check out the books. Books may be renewed before the due date.
OVERDUE LIST: If you fail to return your book by the due date, your name will be listed on an overdue list given to your Knight Time teacher. Students who are on the list may use books only in the library and cannot check books out until overdues are returned.
REFERENCE BOOKS: These may be checked out after last period. They must be returned by 7:45 a.m. the next day.
MAGAZINES: Back issues may be checked out. Current issues must be remain in the library.
RESERVING BOOKS: If a book you want has been loaned to someone else, you may ask the media center staff to reserve it for you. You will be notified when the book is available.
DAMAGED & LOST: You will be asked to pay for lost and damaged books and magazines.
SUGGESTIONS: You are welcome to put your suggestions for books,magazines, and AR tests in the suggestion box. Look for new items on the front table to see what has been purchased.
