Loaner Equipment
InTech has a variety of camcorders and other equipment available for short-term loan. Faculty, staff and students may check out loaner equipment for use in McDaniel College work or academic-related endeavors. Stop by the InTech offices Mon-Fri between 9:00 am-4:00 pm, or contact Anita (athier@mcdaniel.edu) for more information. Flip camcorders are also available for checkout at Hoover Library.
Apple iPod Video Nanos
Video nanos come in a case with ear buds and USB connector. They can hold up to 8 hours of video.
We have several styles of Flip cams, including the Flip Mino HD and Flip Ultra. Flip cams are loaned as a kit, complete with a case, mini tripod and USB extension cable. Flips hold 60-120 minutes of video depending on the model. Flip Kits can be checked out from the Maggie Lab (Academic Hall, Rm. 105) during Swatt hours. There are also Flip Kits available at the Hoover Library circulation desk.
Handheld Camcorders
Handheld models include the JVC Everio Hybrid (hard drive model) and Sony Digital Handycam (tape model). All camcorders come in a case containing power adaptor and USB or firewire cable. Tripods are also available if needed.
Turning Point Clicker Set

Microphones
We have several USB microphones available for use with a computer or iPad, including Samson, Marshall Electronics, Blue Snowball and RevoLabs (wireless) models.
Headsets
In addition to the microphones listed above, we have a variety of Logitech and Plantronics USB headsets with microphones. These are ideal for audio or video recordings and for adding voiceover narration to video projects.
Webcams
Choose from a variety of devices, including Logitech, Microsoft and Blue Microphones “Eyeball” models. (Suitable for using with Skype.)
