McDaniel College education students learn about content methodology and pedagogy in their education courses.  Effective classroom management techniques are embedded in their coursework.  Interns often share that one of their largest concerns about teaching is how to control student behavior in a real classroom setting.   It is well known that a teacher can have in-depth knowledge of the concept, write and implement a highly motivational and purposeful lesson, BUT… without effective behavior management skills the lesson may not be successful.
