Vision

Our vision is to provide a link from the members in our school community to the vast amount of resources available to them. We are to be an open, friendly, and welcoming area of the school that embraces cultural and ethnic diversity. We will respect the rights of those entering our doors.

We will support the mission and vision of the entire school system.

We envision the school media center as the central program area for the promotion of a life-long love of reading.

Our vision includes teaching to the Information Literacy Standards set down by the Board of Education in order to establish life long learners in an ever changing world.

We will provide a collection of materials to assist students and staff in achieving the goals of the school curriculum as well as for their personal enjoyment of reading and learning. In accordance with the Library Bill of Rights, we will provide books and resources which interest, inform, and enlighten all school community people served by the library.
