TASK
Harry E. Johnson, Sr., president of the foundation that is responsible for the project,
is planning a major event on the
Martin Luther King Holiday to raise more money to get
the memorial completed. As part of the program, he has asked our class to present the
life
of Dr. King. What an honor for us to be chosen, so let's get
to
work!
We will present Dr. King's life at the program using four different finished products.
You will work in groups to complete one of the following tasks:
- Create Dr. King's family tree.
- Make a photo timeline
of the important events in Dr. King's life.
- Bring Dr. King's story to life by writing and
presenting a play.
- Construct a mobile
showing the events that take place just before, during, and
after Dr.
King's death.
