People Go...Views on Slavery
THE TASK
You will be assigned into groups of five, which will create a live interview of people from US history who have a clear viewpoint for or against slavery. You should set up your interview as a talk show, but you must have a host. You must also have two people clearly for slavery and two people clearly against slavery. The purpose of the talk show is to show how different views of slavery existed within the United States during the 1800s.
All group members must have a written copy of what will be said in the talk show (a final draft of the skit) Each group will "perform" their talk show in front of a live audience (A.K.A the class).
