How Can I Integrate Technology in MY Classroom??

Surrender Teachers

Goals- By the end of this course module, students will be able to:
              1. List specific ways that technology can be integrated into the classroom.
              2.  Research and discuss ways that teachers currently use technology in the classroom.

Overview-    "Apply yourself. Get all the education you can, but then...do something. Don't just stand there, make it happen. "--Lee Iacocca  We frequently see our students forgetting or not applying what they have learned each year.  However, many of us may find it hard to believe that TEACHERS DO THE SAME THING!!!  We learn so many new ideas about technology from other teachers, professional development activities, and graduate courses.  Why stop there???  This course module will show you how others integrate technology into their classrooms so that you can become more confident to use technology in YOUR classroom!!

Activity-For this activity, you will discover ways to use technology in your classroom.  As you read, consider the wide variety of students that you teach.

1.  Accelerated/Gifted Students
              2.  Students w/ Disabilities
              3.  ESOL students (primary language other than English)
              4.  Average-Ability Students
              5.  Students who do not have access to technology outside of school.
How can technology help you reach these students???
