Desert vs. Tundra
In the artic, it is freezing cold. There is snow as far as the eye can see. Could anything really live here?
In the desert, it is so hot you can see the heat rising from the ground. Everywhere you go there is sand and very little plant life. Are there any animals living here?
One is hot and one is cold, but are they really that different. In this activity we will explore the similarities and differences of desert and tundra biomes.
Visit the two sites listed below and write down the characteristics of each biome. Then using the Venn diagram, document the similarities and differences of each biome.
