Discovery School

Discovery Channel has put together a comprehensive site for educators containing clip-art, puzzles, activities, and lesson plans.  Their physical lesson plans include some of my students’ favorites, including the ultimate roller coaster contest.

Lesson Plans Page

This site allows you to pick your general subject, then specific grade level.  This narrows down the search to different subtopics, all of which are grade appropriate.

Teachnology

One of the best features of this site is the fact that it gives a summary of the content contained in each lesson.  With over 50 lesson plan categories to choose from, there is something for everyone.

Science Netlinks

As part of the Marco Polo educator reference system, this site has links to hundreds of lesson plans covering all aspects of the science curriculum.  All lessons are standards based, divided by grade level, and some include printables and internet links.  There is also a link to related websites appropriate for the different grade levels.
