Food Pyramid-Five Food Groups

 

           

 

Introduction: In the past couple of weeks we have been discussing the food groups/pyramid. We have found that there are five food groups. We are learning how to have a healthy lifestyle. This activity will help you prepare for that and learn ways to incorporate these foods into your diet.

Grade Level: 8th Health and Physical Education Class

 

Questions:

 

1.    Please list the five food groups

2.    Please list two food found in each food group

3.    Please list the servings one should have per day for each food group

4.    Make a sample diet plan for one day that includes all the food groups and their correct serving size. Use the graphic/table to make this diet plan.
