Physical Education Games-

P.E. Central- This was a wonderful site for myself. This site is for teachers, students and parents. It provides information about developmentally appropriate physical education programs for children of all ages. It is several links such as preschool physical education, equipment, assessment links, instruction resources and creating a positive learning environment. I clicked on the preschool link and find some great body awareness activates for the children I am teaching.  Date visited-9/30/05.

Education Sites-

Lesson Plan Central- This site was another great site for physical educators. The site has many search links. One has to first click on their grade level and than it lists many lesson plans to implement. There are lesson plans for games/relay races, health/fitness and sports. Also, there are lesson plans for language, math, music and science. This is great for preschool. My children get very bored doing our math time, so this gave me many ideas to enhance their learning and to keep their attention. Date visited 9/30/05.

Educator’s Reference Desk-

Lesson Plans- This is site had some things to offer but was not one of my favorites. It has listing for games, motor skills, skill related sports, team sports, outdoor games and even gymnastics. One can click on which listing they would like to explore and than a list of lesson plans will come up. It states what age it would be most appropriate for which is very helpful. It is a great site for coaches too. Date visited 10/01/05
