This index, developed by the Caroline County Public School
System, Caroline County, Maryland contains a selected group of over 1,600 web
sites that have been recommended by educators. All the sites have been
initially screened for appropriate content but “cannot be guaranteed, due to
the dynamic nature of the World Wide Web”. Content areas include professional
development, computer/technology, language arts, math, science, social studies,
