Bibliography of Worksheet Sites

 

Many times worksheets are needed quickly.  Having the following resources on file will be helpful in creating documents to use as worksheets in the classroom.  The worksheets below will be used in a self contained primary level classroom.

 

 

The Educators Network – Many worksheets are found at this site if you can weed through all the flashing advertisements.  The best worksheets were math worksheets which were leveled for third grade.

edHelper.com – This is a great site for lesson plans as well as worksheets.  I especially like the math word puzzles.  Worksheets are also available here for holidays, such as Easter word searches.

RHL School – An elementary leveled site for worksheets.  There are many math and language arts worksheets available.  The reading comprehension activity sheets were original to this site.

SuperKids – This site has some math worksheets for elementary students.  There are also some vocabulary building worksheets available.

The Staff Room – An extensive list of checklist, rubrics, and other assessment tools useable for all levels of school can be found at this site.  This site is a gold mine of information and sites for assessment.

Rubistar – Rubrics that have been created for many subjects are located here.  There is also an opportunity to create unique rubrics to use in ones own classroom.  Finding this site could be a timesaver for those of us who need to create rubrics on a regular schedule.  There are also lesson plans included at this site with rubrics created to assess work completed from these lessons.

Awesome Library – A listing of sites which contains worksheets is found at the web site.  There are also listed a compilation of lesson plans and other teaching aids.

Math Fact Caf้ – Flashcards, games and math worksheets can all be created here.  Step by step directions makes the creation of original worksheets easy.

TeAch-nology – Worksheets are listed here for many of the subjects I teach.  There is also located at this site, a worksheet generator to make original worksheets, which can be tailored to meet individual teacher’s needs.

Macmillian/McGraw-Hill – Calculator worksheets, scoring guides and math worksheets are located here for elementary students.  Basic graphic organizers are also helpfully located at this site.

Discovery School.com – This site contains many of the worksheets I would use.  There is a section to generate original and new worksheets.  Also this site contains a library of worksheets in many subjects to use in an elementary classroom.
