CLIP ART

As I am completing this elective late in the class I wish I had done it earlier.  It really would have helped me with some of my graphics.  The following are 5 citations to the best and easiest and free sites I found.

http://classroomclipart.com/

A free site with a lot of different pictures to chose from.  After seeing a beautiful rainbow yesterday I looked under rainbow and found 8 different ones to choose from.  The only problem I had with this site was it was for k-12 use only so I wasn’t sure if I could use it for this class.  Date visited July 13, 2003.

http://dgl.microsoft.com/?CAG=1

I liked this site because when this time I asked for rainbow I got 7 pages of responses from cartoon pictures to real photographs.  I tried to download a picture and created an error. Date visited July 13, 2003.

www.kidsdomain.com/clip/

I thought this site had terrific potential for teaching students to use clip art.  It was kid safe and full of themed images and kid interests. Date visited July 13, 2003.

www.clipart.co.uk/html/icons.shtml

This site was awesome full of some great animated pictures.  It was a little overwhelming all the choices.  I must get better at downloading them.  Practice I guess! Date visited July 13, 2003.

Discovery channel is a wonderful source of information and now has its’ own clip art gallery.  You can use up to 10 images which is an added bonus.  It is full of holiday art and every other type of image you may need. Date visited July 13, 2003.
