As a teacher reminding students to always cite the sources the get their information from is vital. And it is important to lead them the correct place to learn the form. For this class’s purposes, APA was the form of choice. In reading these four guides to citing Internet Sites I really preferred the first one from Lafayette College in PA. It was easy to read and find. The only thing is the teacher must make it clear which form they prefer; MLA, APA, or Chicago.

This article gave each part of the citation in a bullet of its own with clear detailed explanation. It gave clear examples of all the different ways you can get information from the Internet: databases, articles from publications, and multi-source documents. It also give additional links where you could get help if it was needed. I believe high school students could easily follow this article and learn to cite the information they obtain from the Internet.

Citations from 4 listings on the assignments. Using the MLA form.
