This in-depth, lengthy webquest invites students to read, analyze, and evaluate Poe’s works. The quest invites students to be the judges for a Poe consortium. They must read Poe’s works and select which six should be included. Students will create the playbill for the consortium.

Students will be transported back in time to the 17th Century. There, students will host a dinner party in which they may invite the most prominent figures of the time. Students must not only select an award-winning guest list, but they must also research customs, foods, and hot topics. They will plan the guest list, the music and entertainment, the menu, and the conversation topics.

In this webquest, students will "time travel" back to Ancient Greece and begin logging what they see and hear. Students will work in groups to create a news report on their findings. This website is interesting because not only is it well-developed, but it focuses on the teacher. The webquest is actually for teachers who want a new way to conduct research with their students.

Students will be able to become thespians with this dramatic webquest! Student will choose jobs, select a drama and become their own acting company! Students are required to select and print a play, explain stage directions, create a playbill and program, and perform their drama for the other students.
