Lesson Plans

Why re-invent the wheel when it’s already been made … and it works!  Teachers all over have made millions of lesson plans and posted them on-line.  Now, they’re available for you to tweak and make your own.  Take a look at some of the great websites I’ve found that offer free, interesting, quality lesson plans!

DiscoverySchool.com, The Lesson Plan Library:  Affiliated with The Discovery Channel, this website offers lesson plans by grade (K-12) and by subject area.  It is a great resource for teachers to use to find new and interesting topics as well as extra resources like “homework helpers” and a clip art gallery.  This website can be a one-stop website that helps teachers get great ideas and lessons!
