Aplusmath.com – Like many of these algebra worksheet websites, this site allows you to choose a desired number of problems for your worksheet.  Then, a custom-made worksheet is created for you with a link to the answer key available.  Also, at the bottom of this site is a link to a page that will create flashcards to strengthen skills in basic math operations.

FunMaths – On this site, you can find many math worksheets, separated by type.  Although some of these activities are more directed toward higher-level students, many are appropriate for beginning algebra students.  These worksheets are original because most of them are fun and involve critical thinking and logic skills.

Math.com – This site allows teachers to choose from a variety of types of algebra problems, and then a personalized worksheet is created for them.  By choosing only one topic, this would be a great tool to use to generate a homework assignment, or a mixed review could be created by selecting an assortment of topics.

Quizzes

Glencoe Mathematics – This site was created by the makers of a beginning algebra textbook.  There are links to each section, and an online quiz is available to check understanding for each section.  For each problem, there are hints available, and the computer will automatically score the quiz.  Even though this site was created for a certain textbook, any algebra teacher can use it by finding the topic that corresponds to his/her current lesson.

S.O.S. Mathematics – Sample quizzes for algebra students are listed by topic on this site.  Each quiz is interactive and is automatically scored by the computer.  This is a fun alternative to giving regular pencil and paper math quizzes.
