One of the biggest, if
not the biggest, controversies facing schools is the use of religion. Since the
emergence of this argument bans have been established to keep all religious
practices out of school. Most recent debates have been centered on the phrase
“one nation under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance and on the teaching of
Creationism. In this activity you will read about Creationism and Evolutionism,
noting evidence for our debate afterwards. Read only the first six paragraphs,
