As you have been learning about the orchestra,
you have found that most instruments fit perfectly into one of the following
groups: Strings, Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion. There is; however,
one instrument that quite possibly could be placed in two groups at the same
time. This instrument is the saxophone.
In this activity you will visit two websites that describe the

Read this information carefully and form
your own opinion as to which group (Woodwinds or Brass) it belongs to.
Next, write an essay, consisting of your own thoughts and opinions,
on this subject. Make sure you also use some of the facts you have
gathered from these websites in order to support your opinion. Keep
your essay in your work folder because you will need it for another activity
later on.
