BASKETBALL HIGHWAY:   This is a very interesting website that has a wealth of information.   It is a fantastic website that teachers can go to and get ideas for drills to perform.  This is more for the experienced player or coach, but the information it contains could very     well be used in some form in physical education class.   The one downfall of this site is that they try and sell a lot of products, so you do not know what is a link and what is an advertisement.   Date: 2/16/05.   http://www.bbhighway.com/

BASKETBALL COACHING – IN SEARCH OF EXCELLENCE:   At first look at this website, it looks like a site that is just selling products.   As you scroll down, you will see that it has a ton of information.   This is a website that could both be used by a beginner and also used by a more experienced player.   There are drills, quotes, and different plays.   This website has all the information you could ever want to know about basketball.   Date: 2/16/05

UNITED STATES NATIONAL SOCCER PLAYERS:   This is a fantastic website for the person trying to learn more about the game of soccer, as well as the fan.   There is an area on the website in which you can look at the specific U.S. teams, and at individual players.   There is also a resource center in which they have specific categories for the player, the coach and the parent.   It is very user friendly and easy to understand.   Date: 2/16/05.   http://www.ussoccerplayers.com/resource_center/

        

JEFF PILL’S SOCCER DRILLS:   This is a very good website because it provides a large amount of activities for either the soccer coach, or the Phys. SOCCER- COACH L – COACHING MANUAL:   This is a great website that provides extensive rules and principles.   For the coach, it has a section of coaches resources that consists of anything a coach could need.   This website also provides great practice plans that could be changed into teaching lessons for physical education class.   Date: 2/16/05

SOCCER:   This is a great website with a lot of information.   It is very well organized and shows a great deal of skills, drills and any other kind of information you could ask for.   This site is very educational and could definitely be used in Phys Ed class.   This is both for the beginner and advanced player.   Date: 2/16/05

WORLD BADMINTON:   While this website looks very plain, it contains a vast array of information.   You could find anything you ever wanted to know about badminton at this website.   There is a lot of information here for a physical education teacher such as badminton history, and a glossary of terminology.   Date 2/17/05   http://www.worldbadminton.com/

 

BADMINTON ONLINE:   This website is rather plain, but it does contain some good information.   At first look, this website would appear to be just an advertisement site.   But once you explore it, you see that there is a section you can go to, to find out the history of badminton, and also a section you can look at specific shots and read the description as to how to do them.   This website is for the beginner and does contain information that can be used in a Phys. UPA RULES OF ULTIMATE FRISBEE, 9TH EDITION:   This is a very good website to learn everything there is to know about Ultimate Frisbee.   The website’s appearance is very bland, but the information is very lengthy.   The wording is a little more technical then many beginners would like, but you are able to understand it.   Date: 2/17/05

VOLLEYBALL.COM:   This website is very user friendly.   It contains a wealth of information.   There are sections for drills, strategy, the history of volleyball and photos.   This is a great website for beginners as well as experienced players.   There is also a volleyball links section that allows viewers to explore more if they choose to.   Date 2/18/05

ROLLY KEENEN CAN’T LOSE:   This is a great website.  There is plenty of instruction offered, and lots of tips that can be used in the classroom.   For the serious volleyball player however, there is a section that gives a volleyball workout that they can look at and implement in their own training.   Date: 2/18/05

PLAYING VOLLEYBALL:   At first glance, this website is very plain and dry.   There are no pictures, it is just all text.   Just like the saying, do not judge a book by its cover, just because there are no pictures, there is a lot of valuable information here.   There are a lot of cues that could be used in Phys Ed. for each of the different areas of volleyball.   Date: 2/18/05
