1.     PE Central:  Offers a variety of lesson plans for physical education.  You are able to choose grades k-2, 3-5 and 6-12 to get lessons for any of those grades.  From this site I chose to look at a lesson plan for track and field.  It is for grades 6-8.  The lesson is easy to understand and has everything on it that a teacher would need to use the idea in their classroom.

2.     Lesson Factory:  This is a good site to get lesson ideas for mostly grades k-8.  There are all kinds of activities you can choose from.  I decided to choose one on football stations.  The lesson gives a very good idea of what needs to be done.  It is easy to understand and to interpret.  This lesson gives some great ideas for football unit even if you do not use stations.

3.     Lesson Plans Page.com:  This is a website that offers a variety of lesson plans.  The one I chose to look at is for elementary kids.  This is a fun game that helps students practice their dribbling skills for basketball and using the idea of musical chairs.  This site is easy to use and understand.

4.     Educator’s Reference Desk:  This site has some lesson plans that a physical education teacher could use.  The lesson I chose to look at is called Thunderball.  The plan tells you everything you need to know to play the game and to teach it to your students.  This site is also easy to understand and easy to use.

5.     KidsRunning:  This site is about running and getting kids to enjoy it.  The lesson I chose is a game called Jello tag.  The lesson is very detailed and easy to understand.  By reading it I really liked the game because it incorporated physical fitness and spelling.  You would use this for elementary aged kids.
