This is the best search engine for kid-safe links and websites. Yahooligans offers links to sites that have games, references, animals, music, jokes and to Ask Earl for questions. Here is their directory of kid-friendly sites listed below. I really liked this search engine the best because of the wonderful listing of different areas that would interest kids.

I found to carry many, more links. This metasearch engine I rated again as the #1 source for this information. Monstercrawler included links to finding jobs in the medical field, in addition to the sites found by google’s search engine.

I rated this site as the #1 search engine for finding information regarding legal issues. Some of the results included links to sites regarding legal information, drunk driving offense attorneys, pre-paid legal services and some Law Firms.

This search engine listed about 80 references in the legal field. Some were the same as webcrawler but did not have quite as many results.

Conclusion:

Overall, the best search engines I found for most of the categories listed above were Google and Yahoo. The metasearch engines which included Google were Webcrawler, Monstercrawler and Metacrawler, so I felt that these were among the best search engines to use for all subjects.
