Introduction:
When working with ELL students, you will need a variety of activities to do with them to help  foster their English Language Acquisition. Below is a website for teachers  to use as a resource guide. This page could be useful in helping develop teachers' background knowledge about their LEP students so they can feel comfortable knowing how to  work with them.

This site contains all kinds of resources for teaching ELLs. It has guidelines to follow for Reading Tutoring Sessions.  It lists tips for Working with English Language Learners such as “Watch your Language”, “Model Correct Usage”, “Value the Culture of the Learner” and “Encourage Conversation” along with more details/suggestions on how to do this with your 2nd language learners.

Information:Here is a website that  will  provide online activities which will  teach/reinforce English  grammar at  the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced  ESL/ESOL  levels.

Activities:

1. Write in your journal which activities you completed on the website. Which activities did you like best? Why did you like those activities? Add that information to your journal.

2. Under the listening section on the website, draw a picture about one of the stories you read. Label the information that you drew and be ready to share it orally with a partner or your teacher..

3. Click back onto the website. Under the
Listening section, click onto " Personal Information ". Answer the questions , but write that information in your journal. ..... not on the website. After you have answered those questions, write a story about yourself .
