After you have explored some of those sites and you think you have a good idea about the different international holidays, follow the directions to complete this chart.  Click here  to print out a copy of it.

Assignment:

Your assignment is to choose 1 of the international holidays you chose to add to your chart. You will write a paper based on the information from your chart. It should contain about 4-5 well  written paragraphs. You will then follow the rubric below to do an oral presentation to your class.

For the paper, you may import 5 clips from the websites you visited. These clips must be of some significance/importance to the holiday celebration you chose to share.  For example, a paper about Christmas could include an imported clip of a Christmas tree or people exchanging gifts.

Submission:

After completing the written assignment, you can post your document as an html file to the school’s server and send me an e-mail message containing a hot link and the URL.

Your paper is well written and includes the information from the holiday chart. You have imported 5 clips to support your information

Your paper is written well but only contained a few items from the holiday chart. You also imported less than 5 clips into your document.

You have a great beginning but more information is needed to get a good understanding of your topic. You could add more clips that support  information about your topic.

You have very limited information related to the topic. You have items missing from your chart which will help you to have a completed paper. You need to add clips to support your information.
