I love using clip art with my printed documents. It adds
liveliness to your work. I tested out 5 links to see which were the best to use
for importing clip art. I added
comments about which were good sites and which weren’t.
Here
they are:
1.
http://classroomclipart.com/cgi-bin/kids/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Clipart/Musical_Instruments
This
website had good clipart
but there were some pop up ads
that were
Here
are 2 examples of clip art from this site. The clip art is harder to move it around
once you import it into your documents.
2.
http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?lc=en-us&cag=1
Here
is Office
Microsoft Clip art. I do like their pictures better than the classroom clip art’s website.
Here is examples from this site.
This
clip art was easier to import to my page and
move
it around. Also, there were no pop up ads on
this
page.
3. http://clippart.sitemynet.com/main.html This website has free animated clipart but if you copy it without
downloading them, the movements/animations cease. This site also had lots of
pop-up ads.
4. http://www.kidsdomain.com/clip/
There is
clipart on here covering many categories also. I liked the items from this
website also and I didn’t notice any pop-up ads. It is a free site too. Here are some examples from this site.

5.
http://www.clipartcastle.com/ This site seemed wonderful with the offer of
the free clip art but there is a survey form you have to complete before
entering the site.
I
liked the samples that were advertised but I didn’t want to fill out the survey
sheet so I wouldn’t recommend that one.
Out
of all of these, I really like using the Office Microsoft Clip Art. I’ve been
using that for a while. I also liked the kids domain clip art too.
