Introduction

Our nation’s capital has not had baseball for more than 30 years. The Texas Rangers used to play in D.C. and were known as the Washington Senators until 1971. Residents of the capital have had to find alternate teams to root for during baseball season. But, Major League Baseball has recently decided to move the Montreal Expos to Washington, D.C. for the 2005 season. So, now baseball will be back in D.C.

For this assignment you will be determining the effects of the Montreal Expos move to Washington, D.C. on the cities of Baltimore, Washington and Major League Baseball as a whole. Please type a paragraph giving at least 5 reasons why the move will either help or harm your chosen group or city. This assignment is due at our next class.
