Objective - Students will learn about the resources that are available
for online dating.
Objective - Students
will be able to explore several dating websites to find strengths and
limitations of each.
Introduction - It is hard to find that special someone but now the Internet
has made finding Mr. or Ms. Right that much easier. Now instead of meeting someone in a bar, you
can search on a dating website to pick out someone with the same interests or
beliefs as you. No need to waste time listening
to bad pickup lines, now all you have to do is spend hours searching online for
that perfect person. There are many
dating websites out there that cater to any number of different groups or
interests. Search engines can help to
find the right online dating website for you.
Activity - While
having fun looking for your match it is important to know how to be safe while
dating online. Check out this site Online Dating Safety
Tips for some advice.
Assignment - Find three websites that offer online dating services. After visiting the three websites write a
short (300 words) paragraph describing each site. Include the name and URL of the site, the date
that you visited the site, three commendations and three recommendations for
the site. Each site should have a
separate paragraph.
Submission - Email the assignment to your teacher as a Word
document.
