Internet Course Module-
Involve your students in creating guidelines and appropriate search engines for

Web Drop-in 1 –
This is an interactive web activity for students in 3rd grade and can
be altered to accommodate both upper and lower grades. During this activity
students will learn safety tips for Halloween and complete a quiz. Upon
completion of this quiz, Halloween safety experts will be awarded with a
certificate to show their achievement of Halloween safety.

Web activity for 5th grade students to relate animal instincts to
human hero characteristics. Students will read three short articles online
about animal heroes and then write a paragraph about the similarities between
animal heroes and human heroes.

is a current events reading and writing activity for 3rd to 5th
grades about Hurricane Isabel. During this activity students will read online
articles about the hurricane, take notes about facts, and add their personal
connections to write their own news reports about the hurricane.

This web activity is focused on finding the facts about heart disease and
introducing students to healthy ways of living to start preventing heart
disease in childhood.

This web activity is focused on educating students in elementary school about
the importance of Veteran’s day. Along with the online reading, students
will take part in cooperative grouping to generate ideas about how their school
