Search Tips
1.Make your search specific- if you know exactly what you want, don't be afraid to type in a narrow search, it will help you avoid getting a plethora of websites that aren't useful to you

2.  Avoid words like "the" and "and" because they aren't necessary to find your site and might actually complicate things more since they are found everywhere.

3. Use a + to indicate words that must be there in order to be selected (+government), a
- to indicate words you don't want your site to get confused with (+bird -big), and " " to indicate an exact phrase that you are looking for ("the sun also rises").

4. Use search engines like google instead of yahoo because google is a web crawler and yahoo relies on what the creator of the page types in as its key words. (A web crawler is a search which is done by the search engine to make sure that the content matches up with the criteria you are looking for.  As the webpage changes, so does the search engine's description).

5.  If you find a page you like, look for similar ones.  You can trim back the URL in order to  see where the site originated from and where you might find others like it.
