INTRODUCTION

     In this WebQuest, you will research the 1692 Salem Witch Trials and create your own court pertaining to the way you think history should have happened.  
 
     This activity will blend independent study and group work.  You will be expected to research a factual individual who was involved with the Salem Witch Trials(a name of an accused, an afficted or a judge will be given to you by the teacher).   There will be a mock trial in the class to decide the fate of 4 factual people that you will select, by a ballot vote. 
You will also be asked to compose a presentation about your findings, in addition to writting a 5 to 7 page typed essay.  The presentations may be in the form of the following:


You will also examine how these trials and deaths could have been prevented as well as relating the events that occured to present day.
