WEBQUEST

My Story Quilt—examine the influences on the life and work of African-American female artist, Faith Ringgold, like quilting, the Harlem Renaissance, and the Underground Railroad.  In groups, students research and make connections to the influences in their own lives.  Choosing a social issue, they create their own story quilts to display.  Also, there is a list of five excellent art webquests already available to teachers.
