WEBQUEST
My Story Quilt—examine the influences on the life and work of
African-American female artist, Faith Ringgold, like quilting, the Harlem
Renaissance, and the Underground Railroad.
In groups, students research and make connections to the influences in
their own lives. Choosing a social
issue, they create their own story quilts to display. Also, there is a list of five excellent art webquests already available to teachers.
