Copyright – This website contains two scenarios of how teachers might find themselves infringing on copyright laws. The responses state why the scenarios may be infringements of copyright laws. There are also a few suggestions of what a teacher should do in these situations.

Webquest – This webquest was designed to educate high school students on the dangers of steroid abuse. By researching steroids and writing a 2 page speech, students will be able to understand the effects of steroids.

Activities:
Drop In #1 – By creating their own menu, this activity will help children learn the proper guidelines for nutrition set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This educational activity brings out creativity along with learning key ingredients for lifelong health.

Drop In #2 – This activity will help students learn the rules of the sports of badminton and tennis by comparing and contrasting the two sports.

Drop In #3 – This activity will help students understand the differences between aerobic and anaerobic exercises. By comparing and contrasting the two, they will understand the benefits of incorporating both types of exercises. Knowing that both are equally important for overall physical strength and stamina will help in improving life long health.

Drop In #4 – This activity will help students compare and contrast different diets. They will evaluate each diet and find out for themselves what makes up a well rounded diet.

Drop In #5 – By comparing and contrasting two great athletes, students will be able to evaluate what they think creates a well rounded athlete. They will then create a diagram which will help them compose to compose a short essay.

Fieldtrip – This virtual fieldtrip lets students learn about different beaches throughout the world. To spark their interest through the sport of surfing, they learn the topography of the different surf breaks and the conditions of the oceans around the world. The also learn interesting facts and points of interest while visiting the locations.
