It’s Electric!

Overview:

This activity will explore electricity and its characteristics. With electrical appliances and use every day, it is important to learn how to be electrically safe. Visit the “Electrical Safety World” site to gather the information needed for your assignment. This site offers a range of information on electricity and you should follow all links. There is even a safety certificate you can print out once you are done!

Assignment:

Evaluate the information gathered from the site and create a “Top-10” list of important safety facts. These should be presented in the order from most (#1) to least (#10) important. Note: You need to decide what information comprises your “Top-10” and should be prepared to discuss your selections in class.

Guidelines:

Create your list on your own paper.

Number and rank each item.

Feel free to add pictures or illustrations.
