Every year, children across the United States celebrate "Read Across America" to celebrate reading and the life/works of Dr. Seuss. Below are the best links to various web sites that contain lesson plan ideas based on the books by Dr. Seuss. The lessons found on these sites cover grades Pre-K through fifth grade. I have ranked each site on a scale of 1 hat (lowest) to 5 hats (highest) based on their usefulness and quality.

 

Dr. Seuss Lesson Plans - contains lesson plans, listening center ideas, crafts, games and more. 
Dr. Seuss Web Page for Teachers - this site was created by four classroom teachers and contains 4 days worth of lessons, related links, and even a wav file that allows you to listen to Dr. Seuss speak.
Dr. Seuss Themes - you will find everything Seuss related here. They have lesson plans, web-based activities, reproducible worksheets, resources, and book lists.
Celebrate Dr. Seuss - has lessons that integrate math, science, social studies, writing, and language arts. You will find reproducible pages, activity ideas, and even games.
Meeting and Reading Dr. Seuss - contains lesson plans for a weeks worth of activities and has a scavenger hunt.
Kiddy House Literature Based Lessons: Dr. Seuss - has everything from lesson plan ideas, to resources, to games and even has more links to other Seuss related sites.
ESeuss - this site has great worksheets and trivia quizzes that you can print out for the students to use.
