FIELD TRIPS TO SPACE
First we will visit the moon (http://www.lauriefowler.com/moon.htm).
We will go on a Moon Mission, where we will investigate the moon.
We will view our planet Earth from a different perspective.
We will also see how moon rocks are collected.
Second, we will visit the planets. (http://pds.jpl.nasa.gov/planets/welcome.htm)
We will visit the nine planets and view their similarities and
differences.

Since Mars
(http://www.kidscosmos.org/field-trip-to-mars-kids.html)
is in the news, that is the third place we will visit. We will
take a closer look at our closest planetary neighbor.
We will investigate landforms on Mars, such as this floodplain.
Then we will learn about vehicles that have given us images of
Mars.
Finally, we will visit Kidz Exploring Space
(http://library.thinkquest.org/CR0210901/).
We will investigate stars
and do some hands-on investigations about space.
