A dynasty is a period of time where one family rules the country. The Chinese were ruled by many dynasties. The earliest known dynasty is the Xia dynasty beginning in 1994 B.C. Yet the first dynasty actually recorded, historically, is the Shang Dynasty which began rule in 1766 B.C.
Directions:
1. The student will review the following links for information on Chinese Dynasties. The student needs to choose 3 Dynasties in which to become an expert on.
