Buying your first car – This web quest involves the researching and buying of a vehicle.  Students will gather data through research using the net.  They will also create a resume for a job, a flyer on the vehicle, a spreadsheet and finally a powerpoint presentation all detailing information on the vehicle in question. Personal Budgeting – This web quest involves planning for your future through the creation of a budget.  Students will find a house and a car, develop a budget based on expenses and then find a job that will cover those expenses.

Students will research career, create a cover and a resume.  Students will then participate in a mock interview for that job.  A power point presentation is included for informing class on career choice. Food and Nutrition                                                      

 

Foods of the United States – This web quest involves the creation of a cookbook based on the seven regions of the U.S. Students, in teams, will research one region of the U.S. They will then look for recipes specifically related to that region. Finally they will create a healthy cookbook that uses the recipes from that region (Date visited: 6/24/03)
