bibliography will provide teachers, students and parents with kid friendly websites
for many different activities. Teachers
will find great resources and materials to use in their own classrooms. Parents will find some education and fun
activities for their children to do at home.
Most of the activities are educationally based and will act as great
practice for the children. Students can
find so many different exciting things to do with these websites. Children can find new books to read, games
to play, and practice skills for their homework.
The Teacher’s Corner – This
website is a great resource for teachers, administrators, and counselors. The site provides links to teacher
resources, lesson plans, creative activities, management issues, great books,

your classroom library. Teachers get a
great discount when buying books in bulk.

possibilities. Teachers can get

Teach R Kids Math – This website is a
super resource for elementary teachers and math teachers. A teacher can access math worksheets,
assignments, and extensive problem solving assignments. Children can also use this website for their
own practice in math. Parents and
children can take practice quizzes for many different math topics. A great way to bring learning to the home.

resource for teachers, parents and students alike. There are different pages to open up depending on what

is quite extensive. Students of all

website with many government related issues for children to understand. This website breaks down government agencies
in simpler terms. The site also has

learn about Internet safety. The site
gives children some basic surfing tips and some interesting information about

website all about the White House. This
site has information about presidential history, photos of the White House, a
biography of the current President, and a daily children’s poll about a certain

Kids Care Clubs – Although you
have to register for this site, it is a wonderful resource for teachers,
parents and children. On this site
children can learn about current events and ways in which they can help in the

is a large section on Hurricane Katrina relief that children can get involved
in indirectly. Students can create
