Clip Art

Google
This is probably
the site that I am most familiar with and get most of my clip art from. It has an extensive library and is very easy
to use. It probably doesn’t have the
largest library, but for what I need it is perfect.

Yahoo
This is another
great site for finding clip art. It
works and handles just about the same as yahoo, so in the end it’s a matter of
which you are more comfortable with. It
also has an extensive library filled with a lot of great clip art.

Lycos
I wasn’t all that
familiar with lycos before I started searching around
for sites. From what I saw it is a
fairly decent site. It seems to handle
about the same as google and yahoo, but I would have
to say that it is the worst of the three general search engines.

Clip
Art
This has to be the
most extensive clip art search engine that I have ever seen. It currently has around 2.6 million
downloadable images, so if you are looking for clip art it most likely has it. It’s also very easy to use and is good about
finding the most relevant images and placing them in the first few pages. This is probably your best bet for finding
good clip art.

Physics
Clip Art
This is a pretty
cool site for clip art. There isn’t all
that much clip art available, but the stuff they have is great for
physics. Most of it is a lot of weird
and goofy art, which is perfect for illustrating physics because physics can be
weird and goofy sometimes.
