Pornographic sites
Dear Students,
We live in a world that is constantly changing to keep up with the technological shift. We once had to write our papers in pen that veer towards a typewriter. Now, most teachers expect students to type their papers on a word processor. In addition to this change, our papers have become advanced research papers due to the use of Internet. For this reason, it is important to discuss pop up ads and site that may come up on our screen while using the Internet. This is a safety guideline to better enhance our time on the Internet since it is a privilege to use the Internet in class. In order for students to keep this privilege, they must obey certain guidelines that follow the usage of the computer. Sites that exploit pornography or forbidden in school. There are times that we visit websites that are no longer in use but have been bought by a company that has re-routed the address so individuals visit their pornographic site. These sites are banned in school and students should be aware that if they are caught visiting these sites they loose their right on the computer and run the chance of being suspended. There are cases though, students visit site not knowing, they are about to be routed to a porn site. If this is to happen in class, the following steps are to be taken:
