Current Events on the Web

 

Current events discussion is an integral part of this Social Studies course.  All students are expected to keep aware of current events. 

 

ASSIGNMENT:

 

1.     Select an information source from those provided and select an article to report on.  The article must connect to the subject matter we are studying in the current unit.

 

2.     Using proper bibliographical form cite your source.

3.     Provide a summary (between 150-200 words) of the article.

·        Open a Microsoft Word Document to create summary.

 

4.     Provide explanation as the relationship of the article to our current unit.

 

5.     Select two (2) vocabulary words from the article you think qualify as SAT words.  Define the words and use each correctly in a sentence of your own creation.
