INSTRUCTION:

Citing Internet Resources – It is important to be able to cite digital resources in the digital age.  To a Psychology teacher using APA is the most logical choice but you cannot put MLA out of work either!

Worksheets for Instruction – Why reinvent the wheel?  There are a variety of sites available to the teacher to access ready-made worksheets or worksheet wizards.  Rubrics are out there for you to customize.  Why spend valuable time recreating what is already out there?

Teacher Made Web sites – Teachers have found a new way to communicate with parents and students.  Web sites or teacher homepages are a convenient way to support classroom instruction.

Lesson Plans – Can’t think of a way to effectively teach a topic?  Look to your colleagues who have already created lesson plans.  These lesson plans are for Social Studies.

COMMUNICATION:

Email Distribution List

Instant Messaging

UTILITIES:

Translation – Being able to access websites that perform language translations is becoming important in education.  Teachers and schools need to be able to communicate with all students and community members.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Publications – There are numerous online publications to support educational technology and specific content areas.  This is an annotated bibliography of those publications.

LEGAL:

MULTIMEDIA:

Clip Art – A great way to liven up any old worksheet, letter home, or test is by using clip art or animation.  Here are at least five that I have found that are for the most part free to use.

Online Games – Just how addicting is it?  It will only take a moment for a person to get into playing games on line.  I tried B-I-N-G-O!
