In our study of health, the topic of eating disorders must be addressed. The two eating disorders that we will be discussing are anorexia and bulimia. Click on the link to read the article on anorexia. After you have finished click on the link to read the article on bulimia. After you have finished reading both articles write your answers to the questions below in your journals.
1. What are some signs and symptoms of anorexia?
2. What are some signs and symptoms of bulimia?
3. Compare and contrast the ways that each of the two diseases is treated?
4. Discuss the causes of each of the diseases. Tell how they are similar and how they are different?
5. Pretend that you know someone with one of the two diseases discussed. What steps would you take to help them recover? Why would you choose these steps as opposed to others?
