Citation Elective

1.  I would choose the Write Source web site to send my high school physical education students to for information on citations.  The information on this site is designed for older students.  It gives good examples of citing articles within websites, which is something that physical education students need to know for their research.  The site gives 13 example citations for online sources, a very extensive and complete list.  The web site is user friendly, easy to use and navigate through, and the graphics make it more visually appealing than some of the others.  I also liked that the site only contained information for citing online sources in the MLA format.  Other web sites provided information on other citation styles.  While this may prove useful for other classes, I am requiring them to use the MLA format.  Since it is the only style provided, there should be less confusion about citing online sources.  I also liked the notes that the web site provided underneath some of the citation examples.  These are helpful little tips that help make the web site more considerate and user friendly.  In conclusion, I feel that this is the web site that will best serve my needs and the student’s needs in a high school physical education class.
