Special Needs

Introduction

There are many people who are different from you in your school, neighborhood, and in the world.  You can probably look around and conclude that no two people are the same.  There are some people with special needs who are placed in a mainstreamed classroom so that they may benefit from the same educational opportunities as you.  Each and every one of you should be making efforts to get to know and understand people who are different from you.  Understanding the differences of others can help you become a well rounded person.  Today we are going to focus a few different types of disorders so that we are more aware of the differences of others.
