What You Should Do if You Accidentally Access a Porn Site

Students: While using the computer lab, you will often be required to use the Internet to search for information. While searching the Internet, you may come across some inappropriate sites. In case this happens, please follow the steps below:

1. Turn off your computer monitor.

2. Raise your hand or leave your seat and find the closest teacher or assistant.

3. Explain to the teacher or assistant what site you were looking for when the inappropriate site appeared.

4. The teacher or assistant will log the inappropriate site and restart your computer.

Please keep in mind that using the computer lab is a privilege; if you do not follow the above steps, you will not be able to use the computer lab.

Please take this form home and discuss it with your parents. Both you and your parent MUST sign and return this form before beginning to use the computer lab. I will make a copy for you to include in your notebooks and I will keep the original on file.
