Elementary Education

Below are a list of lesson plan sites I found to be useful. I used the Google, Yahoo and AltaVista search engines and plugged in “Elementary Education Language Arts Lesson Plans” and “Language Arts Lesson Plans for Elementary Education” when doing my searches.

1. Language Arts Lesson Plans – This site provides a great list of lesson plans for elementary education language arts. This link was by far the best and easiest to use. The site contains a long list of lesson plans broken down by grade level. Date visited – 4/16/04.

2. Sites for Teachers.com – This site provides links to 45 lesson plans for language arts for grades K-5. This is another easy to use site where you can click on the link and go directly to the lesson plan. This site is a close second. Date visited – 4/19/04.

3. Language Arts Mini-lessons – This site provides 44 links to Language Arts lesson plans. Date visited – 4/16/04.

4. The Lessons Plan Page.com – This site is broken down into language arts sections and contains a large number of lesson plans. This site is good, but requires more clicking to get you where you want/need to be. Date visited – 4/19/04.

5. Awesome Library – This site is provides links to lesson plans as well as to other teaching resources, including worksheets and assessment information. Date visited – 4/16/04.

6. Education Place – This site includes links to activities, graphic organizers and EduGames. This site requires a lot more clicking and is not as user-friendly, but still a good recommendation! Date visited – 4/19/04.
