Conclusion
Millions of people each
year invest a considerable amount of money, time, and effort trying to make themselves look and feel healthier. Some look for a quick solution while others
take a more ‘long-haul’ approach. Many
health professionals are having a field day introducing the public to the next
miracle cure for dieters. Such names as
the Atkins Diet, Jenny Craig,
SlimFast,
and Weight
Watchers have found a commonplace in the American household.
Task:
It is the start of a new year and your best friend is
considering going on a diet to lose a couple of pounds before the start of
summer. He/she has never dieted before
and is uncertain about which one would be most beneficial for him/her. Being the great friend that you are, research
this topic and decide which diet will work the fastest, the slowest, most healthy, least healthy, easiest, and most
difficult.

Dieting
is a very interesting phenomenon. I have
been blessed so far with a very high metabolism, so I have always been a normal
weight. Who knows if I will ever fall
into the dieting world myself, but I feel that if you eat properly and exercise
you will always maintain a healty appearance. Are Americans too concerned about the way
they look in other peoples eys? Is this the reason why so many people are on
diets or are they truly concerned about their health? What is your opinion about dieting? Why do people go on them? Have you ever been on one?
